Zoo-ko-da
Bloggers, lend me your ears… I mean eyes! For I, Maricel, just found a nice tool for increasing traffic in our blogs. Presenting Zookoda! It sounds a bit weird isn’t it? But it does stick to your brain easily. LOL! Anyways, what is this Zookoda?
Well, for one, I, myself, as a blogger, sometimes have a problem in telling all my blogger friends that I have a new post. It could be a bit tedious to visit each and every blog in my blogroll just to get their attention and tell them that I have a new post and that they should go check it out! I bet you have the same problem as I do. And don’t you want to tell your friends that there is something new in your blog and you want them to at least take a peek on what that is? Well fret no more, Zookoda is our answer my friend. Here is what it can do:
- Manage email newsletter subscribers.
- Enhance your blog with custom newsletter subscription forms.
- Design eye-catching newletters to match your blog design.
- Schedule recurring broadcasts for each day, week or month.
- View real-time open, bounce, click and unsubscribe reports.
- Access mobile users by emailing blog content in text format.
I do think that it is still best to go to your friends’ blogs so that you can also check them out, but if you forgot to tell them something, you have to load all those pages again, it could take up a lot of time and bandwidth as well! So with this, it will definitely take a load off of us bloggers. I sure will try this one! Oh I forgot to mention… IT’S FREE!
Layout For My Bestfriend
Remember the big dude wearing red that was with Hard Gay in my ToyCon post? Well he’s one of my best buds – EJ. He recently decided to have a blog of his own (finally), since he could see that I’m starting to earn from mine. But rather than the monetary reasons, he is also a writter wannabe. I did not mean that as a pun, but he is really good in writing stuffs, especially stories, and sometimes novel. So he wants to share to the world his talent by making a blog of his own.
He admitedly told me that he is not good with layouting and HTML, so of course, I was glad to help him, after all, he is my best friend! LOL! So I made a layout for him… And here is what it looked like:Okay, I know that it looks very plain and simple, but his request was to make it simple and neat. So I granted his request, and guess what! He LOVES it, and of course, I LOVE it too! We both thought that the picture was cute and it matches his personality, not to mention his size (kidding!
). He was so excited that he told me that he finally has a blog of his own, something that he will stick to. It made me so proud of myself. I am just as glad that he loved the layout. Hmmm… Maybe I could make layouts for free and for a small time business too? What do you think?
Oh and by the way, I will not announce EJ’s blog for the meantime, since it doesn’t contain anything yet. =) I’ll tell you guys when he starts posting. ^_^
Cleaning Up Is Such A Breeze
Damn those dusts and dirts! They just keep coming back even if I clean the house every single day! I may not be as obsessive compulsive as some people, but these dusts just got go go! It is really annoying since it takes up an awfully lot of time just to wipe off those dusts in the table using a regular cloth, and sweeping the floor just using a regular broom.
There was this one time that I took out all our furniture and fixtures and placed them in the garden just to able to thoroughly clean the room, and I also dusted the sets of furniture while they were in the garden! It would really be tedious (and stupid) if I do this everyday!

So as I was doing my favorite thing to do — surfing the internet, I got curious on what could make cleaning easier. Somehow, I came across the Dirt Devil AccuCharge Hand Vac and Stick Vac. One is a portable hand vacuum cleaner and the other one is a portable vacuum cleaner. It helps save a lot of money too since it uses 70% less energy, which made it the first cordless cleaning technology to earn the coveted Energy Star approval. Isn’t that neat? I sure want to get one of those. It can clean hard to reach areas as well, which means that I don’t need to take out my furniture and fixtures ever again! WHEW!
