Please don’t laugh at me for this post, but I think I just want to share this experience to everyone of you, just in case it might help.
Okay, I also own a desktop computer (umm… maybe the right word should be my dad bought it for me – basically I still own it, but not from my money), which I somehow “gave” to my little brother for him to use merely for gaming purposes. Before I gave it to him, and before I got the laptop, I usually upgraded my desktop and made sure that I had the best parts, but also making sure that the budget prohibits me to (that time I was still studying and had allowances from my dad).
Anyways, there was this one time when my little brother told me that the computer totally froze, and when restarted, it wasn’t even entering the Windows XP OS anymore! It was just stuck on the black loading screen! I panicked and told my little brother not to touch it as I asked some friends for help. They came by my house one day and looked at the CPU, and you know what? The memory I bought was incompatible with the motherboard! >_< How awfully awkward. It made me feel kinda dumb but at least I learned my lesson.
So to everyone, please make sure that the parts that you buy for your computer’s upgrade is COMPATIBLE with the motherboard… okay? LOL! ^_^
I’ve been tagged by EMCEE and agnes! ^_^ Thanksie dears!

— The Best Gift Ever —
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.
Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man’s name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
“With all your money you give me a Bible?”
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.
Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father’s important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
“And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?”
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words…
PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God’s blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for…
PLS. SEND THIS TO AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.

Lesson I learned: (Write here what you’ve learned)
I have actually read about this story when I was still in highschool. It was really a nice one, and for me, the lesson I learned here is that not everything that you want comes in a nicely packed box, sometimes, it could be wrapped using an ordinary paper. In other words, great things come when you least expect it. You don’t expect to see a car key in a Bible right? =)

Hmm… let’s see, I’m tagging everyone who wants to get the bestest best give ever! ^_^
I know, i know, school just started and families, especially mommies, are busy with their kids going to school, and preparing the kiddo’s meals for their recess time. Together with these chores comes with the “semi-required” household responsibilities (I call it semi-required since others have maids who do these jobs) such as cleaning the room – and keeping it clean, cooking dinner before the family gets home, and the like. Don’t you wish that sometimes, we all could just take cruises around the world and get a vacation, or a “day-off” for mommies only? LOL! How I wish we could eh? We all know that the family is still 1st in our priority list. But we all do wish for a break sometimes! ^_^
Ever since I was a child, I had always dreamed of having a big house, like the ones that a usual little girls would dream of – like those in the fairy tales. =P I remembered this because while I was doing some internet surfing (yes, I’m an addict, sue me. =P ), I saw this Schlage hardware store that features a beautifully designed door. It fits perfectly for my dream house! I want those doors! It’s classic and elegant. Me want! It claims that its quality and design suits any decorative whim, and lemme say this… It definitely suits mine!
Aww… When will I ever live in my dream house? *thinks*
