Watching IMBESTIGADOR Opened Up My Mind

I am not an avid fan of this TV show however, just a while ago, I watched the show and they were airing a rather gruesome fact about my countrymen… If you weren’t able to watch the episode a while ago, here are the stories:

1st Story: Dogs are man’s bestfriend, or are they?
Some people maltreat their dogs, and no matter what happens, these little cuddly pets stay loyal to their owners still. Dogs help and save lives, they even show love to other people especially to patients who are undergoing therapy using their sense of fun and belongingness. It aids lower the blood pressure by giving joy and calmness to the patients.

But somehow, there are people who take away these pets and sell their meat for money. Yes, they kill these ever-so-loving dogs for their own selfish being, and they know that it is against the law. They get Php12,000 for 8 dogs, and couldn’t care less for the animal. The show even featured decapitated parts of the dogs. I was crying when I saw the dogs being chopped up and my heart was sinking down the drain. I was eating my dinner that time I lost my appetite. =(  The sad part is that one of the dog killers/tradrs is a nephew of the I just can’t believe that there are cold-hearted people in this country. I just can’t believe why they don’t just stick with beef, pork or chicken, which are considered as food animals. Dog are considered as pet animals and not food animals! Good thing that the police captured the locals who were doing the illegal trading, killing and selling of dog meats. Although I bet that these police will only work when they are on TV, otherwise, they couldn’t care less as well. I would even bet that there is one in a thousand policemen who eats dog meats. I would certainly have him arrested! >_<

Story 2: Abortion = Death
I know that abortion means death for the unborn child, but in this case, not only did the baby died, the mom died as well. The method of abortion that was used by the syndicate to a poor young lady was by using Cytotec. It is a medicine used to treat ulcer problems and should be given the proper dosage by a doctor, and should not be used to induce labor. A lot of syndicates are found near Quiapo church, and it’s really sad to know that a lot of people sell this product in front of a church, where are their conscience? And not to mention a police car is in front of them, and yet no one is stopping them from selling the drugs to minors…

I do admit that I myself almost bought that same drug when I got pregnant, but you know what? I’m just glad that I didn’t and as much as I wanted to abort my unborn baby once, I’m so much relieved that I didn’t pursue it and now I have my healthy and cute baby Julie Rayne who I love so much that I am ready to die for her.

Successful Withdraw From PayPal To Eon

Yay! I got my money from PayPal just a while ago. I already tried the withdrawal from PayPal to the card, but this time, I tried the withdrawal to bank account, and guess what, it worked! If you own an EON account, it’s better to withdraw to the bank account if you have more than Php7,000 worth of money in your PayPal, than to withdraw it straight to the card. Why? Cause there is no fee! The cost is free for 7,000 PHP or more and P50.00 for 6,999.99 or less, while transfering funds to card is $5.00 USD (VISA exchange rate for the day of withdrawal request).

So I got my Php7,000+ money for free! YES NO COST AT ALL! ^_^ YAY more funds means more money to spend for my baby Julie’s needs and I believe I can open a back account now! Wee!!! ^_^

By the way, here’s a procedure to withdraw funds to your EON bank account:

this is from UNIONBANK’s website:

4.How do we add our Unionbank account to withdraw funds from my Paypal account?

Step1 : Log into your Paypal account

Click “Profile “tab and then click “Bank account”

Step2: Add bank details

(Please take note that your first name and surname on your Paypal account must match the name of your bank account. If it does not , the withdrawal request will be rejected by UnionBank. )

The bank code number of UnionBank is 010419995.

Step 3: Review your bank account information

Step 4: Confirm

5.How do I withdraw the money?

Step1: Login to your Paypal account

Click” My account” tab and then “Withdraw” sub tab

Step2: Select the “Withdraw funds to your bank account option” -See fees involved-

Step 3: Select the bank account and amount to withdraw

Step4: Confirm the transfer

After that just wait for your money to be transferred to your EON bank account! ^_^

Baby Julie Loves Lumpy and Barney!

Lumpy dumpy dee dee, Lumpy dumpy dee dee, Lumpy bumpy dee dee, Heffalumpy like me…

Okay, I’m not really sure of the lyrics but you know that song right? Well if you don’t I suggest you watch this video of Lumpy’s Song. It’s from YouTube.

Anyways, I just wanted to share to you that video because that is my baby Julie’s favorite song. Every time she sees me using the laptop, she would keep pointing at me and the laptop, which means that I MUST play that video, or else she will go berserk. LOL! Most of the times, when she wakes up first thing in the morning, all she asks is to watch that video, or sometimes even Barney’s video. Hahaha! She just loves to watch any musical videos.

She calls Barney “Ba-ni”, and Lumpy “A-pi”. She may not be able to pronounce the words right but I’m just so happy that she keeps awfully quite and laughs along with the shows. Hehehehe!

My baby is growing up so fast… *sigh*

Dream Wedding?

My cousin got married last July 14, 2008 (same date as my baby’s birthday) at Zamboanga. We were invited, unfortunately, we were unable to attend due to the fact that it was my baby’s birthday and that it was a bit of a short notice.

We were sent a DVD copy of the wedding and boy was I jealous. My cousin’s wife had a very nice wedding dress, complete with accessories and make-up. The church was nicely arranged, and decorated, and they had a very organized entourage. The reception was a beautiful underwater theme, and the wedding cake? Don’t even ask… It sure was an expensive wedding! Somehow a non-practical way for celebrating an event yet it sure was a memorable one for the couple, and I bet it is more memorable to the bride.

While I was watching the DVD, I got really jealous and remembered my “unplanned” wedding. I never had an entourage, not even a wedding dress. I just put on a white dress and that was it. The wedding AND the reception was held here in my house. A judge came over and did his thing. We were wed with no wedding cake, but only with the usual foods that we prepare when there’s an event. It was somewhat memorable to me but in somewhat a not-so-nice way. Of course it is memorable but we all know that girls had always been planning for their dream wedding ever since they are kids, right?

Well I did. I wanted an outdoor wedding. Simple and cozy. I wanted to put on a sexy wedding dress but not the loooooong one. I just wanted an outdoor garden wedding. But I doubt it’s possible here in the city. Oh well. I guess I’ll just dream on.

Someday… If we become rich, I’ll get that dream wedding of mine.
