I’m level 14 now and I didn’t know that upon reaching this level, I can choose 2 recipes in each category… So I’m updating my ingredients and what I need for trading! :cheer:

And I see that upon reaching LVL 15, drinks will be unlocked! So I’m saving up my milk for this. :yes:

I’m addicted to Facebook’s Restaurant City application… And currently I’m looking for some ingredient trading, I’ll update this post every now and then with what I have so that other players would know what I can offer for trade. :cute:

Okay, I know I haven’t post much about what has been happening around my little world, so I’m dedicating this post for any updates that I want to share. *yes – ANY updates, meaning it’s M-I-X-E-D, no specific topic whatsoever. * Ready? Here goes nothing…

==== WORK ====

I still have shift being a chat agent, and I still have to wait for any messaging from the upper peeps, especially from our operations manager for us (yes I’m not the only one who got the job :cute:) to be pulled out. We are actually excited to start the job and we are hoping that we could start soon. :yes: Others told me that it may take few weeks… I’m not really in a hurry or something, just excited.

Also, for the first time in my whole entire career life, I had to call in sick not because I was dead sick, but I just needed to sleep… Lazy? Not really. Here’s the story:

I filed for a 2 day vacation leave for my baby’s birthday, but was declined… So I thought of waiting for my rest days instead (which usually are 2 consecutive days) to do the birthday party, but to my amaze, command center (or whoever is in charge of scheduling and manning) gave me a freaking split off (Sunday and Wednesday), so I had no choice but to absent myself from work after my baby Julie’s party since I didn’t experience any sleep after work…  Look at it this way… the routine would be: work from 10pm to 7am – go home to help out with the preparations – party which was around 4pm onwards – then work, that’ll definitely make me a walking zombie. So I opted to skip work for the first time and had my rest. I guess there always is a first time for everything…

Confession: Absent is a drug and is undeniably addicting. Good thing I only used it once and will never use it again unless necessary.

Thanks to FaceBook, I got to know the latest buzz about the work place too. 2 of my girl office mates are expecting their babies, and 2 of my guy office mates are expecting their babies too! Yep they are 2 pair of couples. Congrats to you guys! :cheer: Somehow, I’m a bit jealous. LOL!

==== BABY JULIE ====

As you all may already know, Julie turned 2 last July 14, 2009… You may have guessed that her name was derived from her month of birth – yes you’re right, and just for an added info, her second name “Rayne” came from the word “rain” which literally means rain. It was actually raining when I was in labor so I guess that would be self-explanatory.

We basically used up all our limited savings for the party and although it was fun, honestly, I kinda felt that it was not worth the money spent. There were lots of left-overs which were either given out after the party, while some are actually still stored in our ref. Also, most guests were, well, not our close friends, most of them were my mom’s workers which I was glad to serve food to since they have helped out me and my mom a lot during the past years and counting, but one of the most disappointing thing was only one out of eight godparents came, some were busy due to work (which were understandable) while some didn’t even contacted me on why they couldn’t come… and worst of all, they were my best friends. Huh! Yeah, I guess I’m still holding grudges against them… :no:

Oh how time flies by, and I just can’t believe that my baby’s 2 now. It feels like it was just yesterday when I had her inside me and now she’s running around the house screaming with just her undies. RAWR! She’s starting to transform into the “Terrible Two” that most mommies are dreading. *sigh* And just few years more, she will be starting school and the more I’ll feel uncomfortable leaving her.

==== ONLINE LIFE ====

As hectic as work as can be, we agents still find time to connect and have fun via Facebook. Currently, I’m VERY addicted to 3 applications (games actually) – Farm Town, Farm Ville, and Restaurant City. I’m doing some ingredient trading as of the moment. I’m gonna do a separate post on what ingredients I have and what ingredients I need.

Last July 14, actress Anne Curtis’ house was robbed by unidentified people. She claimed that some of her bags and clothes were taken, which she thought was a bit odd.

“I’m thankful na walang nasaktan, but hopefully hindi na sila babalik. But you know I think everything happens for a reason. After what happened, I’m still here, I am responsible enough to still do my job. It is something sad na nangyari, but life goes on, we have to keep on moving.” Anne said.

I wonder if she had some kind of alarm systems in her house to protect her from theft… Nowadays, it’s great to install one in our home for added protection. We all wanted to make sure that we are away from harm, especially if you have kids at home.

Last Saturday, I was so excited because I get to experience day-off after a week’s work… but boy was I annoyed after seeing the published schedule. Yes, I finally got a published schedule but it was nothing I expected.

First my request for a 2-day vacation leave was not approved, this was supposed to be for my baby Julie’s birthday, which by the way is July 14 (happy birthday Julie!!!!) and I got a split off… :sweat:

And there definitely is something wrong with our scheduling department (sorry no offence)… How come a lot of agents are on off during Sundays when there are a lot of customers on queue, which means poor agents (including me, who has to suffer the consequence of taking in more chats all at the same time)… then during weekdays, where there are A LOT of agents on the floor, they would have some of them go on four-lo (I don’t really know how you spell that but it means that you can go home since there are a lot of free time and no customers are chatting)??? It’s really unfair, and to think that everyone is being paid on the same rate.

Oh well, I guess that’s just how the company roll. Like I have a choice?

My hubby is a definite sucker for cars, especially those high-tech ones. Honestly, I cannot speak car language, usually I hear people saying “hey, I want a computer that is not a KIA, but more of a Cadillac…” those sort of things, and I feel stupid because I don’t even understand a word it means…

But I guess thanks to Need For Speed Underground 2, I got to know few things about cars – yes just a FEW.  I’m wishing that my laptop can run the game better – we played the game on low to medium quality because it would lag like hell if I turned on the highest quality.

But the one thing that impressed me most is the way you can customize the car to your own liking. Personally, I love a car that’s a bit small and looks cute, but is “fast and furious”. I loved to customize the looks especially the exterior color and design but my hubby usually reminds me that I can also customize how the side mirror, hoods, rear, billet grilles, or bumpers looks like, and would help improve the car’s performance and looks too. Whatever all these mean is still mind bogging to me, but I guess I just need to trust my hubby on this cause he knows a lot about cars more than I do!

How about you mommy? You know anything about cars?

I was literally digging through my clothes a while ago and was looking for something formal that I would wear later. I had few long sleeve shirts and slacks that I used during college years and thank God some of them still fit perfectly. I chose a shirt and a pair of slacks and hung them up ready to be worn later.

Why? Coz I got an initial interview later for QA (Quality Analyst) position!

I applied almost a year ago, and finally, the company was in need of QA’s and I had my qualifying exam just last week. Yesterday, I got an email from the head of QA department stating that I passed the exam and would move on to the initial interview.

Honestly, not only am I nervous which is normal, but scared at the same time… Scared that I might screw up the interview and not be able to get the position. I guess I just need to calm myself and think of positive outcome…

Wish me luck guys! I’m praying hard right now and I’m also hoping that lady luck will be by my side as well.
