When I was in high school, I was always the small, skinniest one in the classroom, and I was proud of it because I can wear anything and would look good on it, from those tight shirts, skirts, skinny jeans, to those hip-hop baggy pants, as long as I match it up with a tight sleeveless top. But lately, I’m totally convinced that I gained a lot of weight. No need the numbers to prove it. By mere looking at the pictures, I’m certain that I really gained weight. I’m positive that it’s not because of my pregnancy, because after Julie’s birth, I was still slim. Take a look of my before-and-after pictures!

I’m really guessing that this is because of my eating habit. I feel like I need crash diet and some slimming pills which I might be able to get using some of those vitacost coupons my friend has, but I’m too afraid of the side effects…. Sob. And my hubby hates it when I feel conscious about it. Well if that’s the case, I’ll just eat my heart out and if I get to the point that I’m 300lbs, let’s see if my hubby would still get mad at me when I say, “I feel fat.”

For the first time, I was able to see the contents of my hubby’s wallet. He always keeps it inside his pocket or if not it’s inside a locked drawer with the keys inside his pocket. But today he accidentally left it (I think) on his desk before taking a bath, so I went ahead and took the opportunity to see whats inside his “Precious”.

Ok here I go… Aside from cash/bills, I found a bunch of advantage cards, like a Blue Advantage Card for a certain mall and a Green Advantage Card for another certain mall, Pizza Advantage Card (of course for the Pizza addicts!), Fast Food Advantage Card and Pharmacy Advantage Card. Another set of cards are his ATM cards, SS ID card and Tax ID card. I also found a lot of receipts and some calling cards. Sadly, I was hoping to see a picture of me or our family because usually, wallets have a part where you can put a picture, but his wallet doesn’t have that part. When I asked him to buy a new wallet so he can put our family picture in it he said “Why would I put our family picture in my wallet? Pictures are for photo albums where it’s safe, not in wallets where it’s constantly being sat on and can be ruined. Besides, seeing and hugging both you and Julie every day is better than having a piece of paper with us printed on it.”…. Ohhh so that’s the reason.

My hubby hates Barney. Instead of “Barney the Dinosaur” he refers to him as “Barney the Gaynosaur” which I find annoying though. He loves to watch shows that features prehistoric and ancient civilization, that includes the history of earth and the universe. So if he’s the one watching the TV, it’s always in either History, Discovery or National Geographic Channel and if there’s nothing to watch on those channels, he turns to Discovery Turbo where it’s all about cars and other toys for big boys.

But when Julie gets a hold of the TV remote and switches the channel to Disney or Playhouse Disney, poor hubby, can’t do a thing especially when she wants to turn on the DVD and watch Barney/ She LOVES barney so much that she could stay in front of the TV all day watching Barney like the other kids. She even hugs her Barney stuffed toy while watching the show. But lately, she started to show interest with real dinosaurs, specially Barney’s prehistoric ancestor, Tyrannosaurus Rex. Then my hubby started buying her some textbooks about different types of dinosaur. She even started to watch the same channels that her dad is watching which kinda favors my hubby. *Sigh* Now how am i suppose to watch TV?!

Julie is now three years old. Two years ago we use to call her “Jutjut”, she doesn’t care what kind of cloths is she wearing and she can barely reach our door knob. But now, shes very conscious on what shes wearing, she often refers to her self as “Princess” and we constantly need to have our door keys in our pocket because she often locks the doors. Sigh* I wonder what other changes will occur in the future.. But what ever it is, me and my hubby will make sure not to miss a single thing.

As of now, my hubby and I have 2 home based business , one is a mini store which mostly sells cup noodles, coffee and biscuit. And the other one is a prepaid load center. Were planing on adding another home based business, but cant quite decide on what type of business will it be. The original plan was to put up a computer shop, but our budget is not quite enough for now. Or, instead of adding another, we could just expand one of the existing business that we have or both. Hmmm, we’ll just probably talk about it and hopefully agree on something later.

My hubby’s sick… Last night he was having the chills and I thought he was just feeling cold because of the air-con, but when we woke up a while ago, his temperature’s at 37.8 C. I bought him Ling Nam’s beef noodles , and soya milk (weird combination eh?), but that’s what he wanted so I gave in. After he ate, I told him to rest in one of our not-so-contemporary sofas but few minutes after, he went back to bed and slept… Poor hubby… Hope he gets well soon.
